Voor het Island of Light festival in Smögen, Zweden ontwikkelt Eric een nieuw werk, geïnspireerd door de locatie op het eiland en het verhaal uit de Griekse mythologie van Echo en Narcissus. Bewegende lichtreflecties in autospiegels, een soundscape waarin de delay een hoofdrol krijgt en elementen die tegemoetkomen aan onze behoefte om onszelf terug te zien. Een installatie over onmogelijke liefdes en vluchtige ontmoetingen op een parkeerplaats; over het verlangen naar een botsing die niet komt.
 
For the Island of Light festival in Smögen, Sweden, Eric is developing a new work inspired by the location on the island and the Greek myth of Echo and Narcissus. Moving light reflected by car mirrors, a soundscape featuring a lot of delay, and elements that appeal to our need to see ourselves reflected back. An installation about impossible loves and fleeting encounters in a parking lot; about the desire for a collision that’s not coming.
